Do you remember Peter Schmeichel? The legendary Danish ex-gatekeeper is still unforgotten at Manchester United, where he won many trophes, but he can now be proud of his son, Kasper Schmeichel.
The latest has just been announced to be champion with Leicester City, making this a second coincidence in the history of British football, where father and son win.
Before that, only Ian Wright (Arsenal champion in 1998) and Shaun Wright-Phillips (Chelsea champion of 2006) made it.
Nonetheless, the coincidence in Schmeichel family are incredible.
Both of them are gatekeepers, they were announced champions when they were 29 years old, both of them celebrated out of the field, because they expected a mistake from the opponent and they both celebrated the champion title in 2 May (1993 Peter, 2016 Kasper)!
