Granada, La Liga leader for the first time in history

Granada is La Liga leaders for the first time in club history, following a 1-0 win over Real Betis on Sunday at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes.

Former new Betis star Alvaro Vadillo scored the only goal of the match in the 61st minute, beating Joel Robles on his back.

Granada is the first La Liga leader in club history and will hold the top position until at least Thursday.

The Andalusian club collects 20 points after their first 10 games in La Liga, leaving Barcelona 19 points after nine games.

Betis, meanwhile, fell into the relegation zone after the loss.
